A village community are becoming increasingly irritated after anti-social behaviour incidents have risen in the area.

Residents of Pangbourne have expressed that they have 'had enough' after a group of teenagers are reportedly consistently kicking the doors of people's homes.

This same group of youngsters have been playing this 'prank' on neighbours in Pangbourne for a number of months now, and many have urged those affected to go to Thames Valley Police about the disturbance.

One worried member of the community posted on social media "I would like to report that there was an incident last night Saturday May 4 around 9.30pm with the same kids kicking people's front doors."

The resident went on to say that the police have also been informed with photos also provided of the group of teenagers.

The local PCO has advised that there is a live investigation in place and has encouraged members of the community to continue to report this anti-social behaviour and criminality.

They continued: "Enough is enough - it would be helpful for an update from our local West Berkshire Counsellor and Pangbourne Village Council on what steps are being taken to make Pangbourne safe and specifically what action is being done to address the current state of anti-social behaviour."

Many other residents in the area have also said that they too are feeling that the situation is out of control in Pangbourne at the moment, and something should be done about these troublesome teenagers.

Another member of the community said the following: "More young lads kicking peoples front doors at 8 pm tonight around Short Street absolutely awful for older people living alone and frustrating for the people that live here.

"They are around 14-16 years old all in black."

Many flocked to the comment section of these posts to express their annoyance at the current situation.

One user said "So what are they going to do? Its getting on my nerves now, little scum bags.

"They should give them curfew at night then we could all rest better."

In agreement with the previous comment, another person said "I had my gate kicked last night, my 93 year old father in law built it with his own hands. I don’t feel threatened by kids, they need to be taught manners and respect for others."

Those who are being affected by the anti-social behaviour in Pangbourne have been advised to email Pangbourne Neighbourhood Police team: pangbourneNHPT@thamesvalley.police.uk.
